The Progboys

Here are couple of famous quotes we have been recently using and iam sure will be used at summers end very shortly:-

"You might as well just throw your wallet away then"

(Used anytime we hear a decent band and it ends up costing us money by buying the cd especially after a few beers)

"How much did that trip to the toilet cost you"

(Used for the first time at summers end 2006,when passing the cd stalls which were deliberately positioned by the toilets,everytime we would come back with something new)

During the summers end festival in 2006 we had the great fortune to meet simon and rob from the excellent band tinyfish.

They were promoting their new album called tinyfish and we had a few drinks and some in depth discussion about prog music,well a lot of it was drunken nonsense and bollocks but you get the picture anyway.

To our great surprise when the album was released we managed to get the progboys name mentioned in the accompanying booklet which was was both a surprise and a shock but mostly a great honour.

After speaking to fellow progboy ro it was decided that we would be attending this years summers end festival,but as usual with us nothing happened until i decided to take a look at the myspace site and saw that nearly all of the tickets had gone.

Thank god ro managed to somehow navigate his way round the sonic bond website and managed to purchase some of these 3 day tickets,we had just forgotten to even bother ordering them ummmmm....
